Everyone has talents and now is an opportunity to use them. The Church is going to give you £10 and between Easter and September (harvest), the idea is to see by how much it can be increased for the benefit of Church funds.
Don’t underestimate your abilities…With your initiative, skills and entrepeneurship you may be able to use the £10 to fund selling plants, having a coffee morning, inviting friends for dinner or afternoon tea. Others who have participated in such a scheme have:
• Made fudge
• Made cakes
• Made Jams , chutney and marmalade
• Created different types of greetings cards and gift tags
• Painted pictures and auctioned them
• Made and sold cushions
• Bought items at a car boot sale and sold them on
The opportunities are clearly broad and varied – the key is using our talents in the most effective way possible. Currently there are two events planned which may be of use in your scheme, to see details please check the Upcoming Events page.
To join in this enterprise please contact Barbara Parker (673252) or Chris Porter (673709), who will give you your £10 and be in contact again in September. There will also be a prIze for the most novel idea and also the largest gain.
If you want any help in terms of publicity, the Shire notes, Magazine and of course this website are all available to you.
